Y'all dont know what a small town in the USA is.

Every time I see a post talking about towns, cities and the populations I see comments from people that say towns with populations of 50k are "small towns". This is, to put it lightly, preposterous and incredibly ignorant of what a small town really is. 50k people in a town is in the top 5% of populated towns, cities, and villages. The average population of a town is 11,069 people! The median you may ask? It's 1153 people. These are objective values determined using the US census bureau as of 20

Friend died in the Spain train accident. His family can't come to Germany, so how do I handle his apartment and contracts in Berlin?

A close friend of mine died in the recent train accident in Spain. He was a non-EU (Tunisian) citizen living and studying in Berlin with a residence permit and renting an apartment. His family lives abroad and can't travel to Germany because of visa restrictions, so I'm going to Berlin tomorrow to take care of his things for them. I'm just a friend, not family, and we don't have the death certificate from Spain yet. I have no idea where to start: What do I need from his family to be allowed
