Anyone else living here for more than 10 years and now getting a feeling of being out of place?
I have spent over 15 years here in Germany in different places and finally moved to the east part of Berlin where I've been living with my family for the past 4 years. I see that the conversations within the society are changing drastically in the last couple of years against immigrants. Most recently we've had a wave of random people on the streets asking why we are here in Germany, where we are from, if we speak German, what exactly we do etc. It's almost as if some of these people are askin
I’m as dumb as the rest of you.
Why not. Why are we turning this into a meme play? It has profits, and a physical business with a low 8p/e and a 8% dividend. Are… we… uh… evolving??

Am I misunderstanding German culture, or would you also feel excluded?

My sister-in-law’s wedding took place during the COVID period, so the number of guests was limited. At a family dinner, she pointed at each person one by one and said who would be invited. Then, in front of the entire family, she announced that she would not invite me or my daughter, who was two ye

Somebody, nobody knows exactly who or when, put dozens and dozens of these Jesus figures on completely random surfaces throughout my entire building. They at least had the presence of mind to not put them on anybody's personal belongings, but that was the only way they limited himself. All of the statues have been glued down, to add to the vexation. Edit: Well, this blew up rather unexpectedly. Thank you for the awards, everybody!

[Chau] Viral Knicks fan who stole trash bin canned from JPMorgan Chase. Angie Baez was the executive director of community and industry engagement for card and connected commerce at JPMorgan Chase before she was fired on Tuesday for stealing the trash bin.
Dumping garbage on the street to steal a New York Knicks-themed trash can — and going viral for it — does have consequences. During the New York Knicks championship parade on June 18, a woman decked out in team gear was filmed emptying a public trash can on the street and then walking away with the commemorative can. Now, that fan has lost her job with JPMorgan Chase, the New York Post is reporting. According to her now-deleted LinkedIn profile, 40-year-old Angie Baez was the executi
